1. About This Policy

This policy explains how 1MillionResume collects and uses your personal data when you use 1millionresume.com, it's subdomains, our free tools, paid plans and Expert Services (the "Services"). By using the Services, you consent to this policy and our Terms of Use.

2. Information We Collect

• Account details: name, email address, password, and Google sign-in details (name, email) if you use Google.
• Your content: resumes, job descriptions and files you create or upload, including work history, education and skills. This includes files uploaded to our free tools without an account.
• Expert Services: information you share with our writers by call, chat, email or document.
• Payment details: order and transaction information. Card, UPI and bank details are collected by our payment providers, and we do not store full card details.
• Contact details: phone number and messages when you contact us.
• Technical data: IP address, country, browser, device, pages visited and links clicked, collected through cookies and similar tools (see Section 10).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• create, analyze and deliver your resumes and documents
• run your account and process payments, refunds and support requests
• perform Expert Services you order
• improve and secure the Services, and prevent fraud and misuse
• send service messages and, with your consent, marketing emails (you can unsubscribe at any time)
• comply with legal obligations

4. AI Processing

Features such as the resume checker, JD matching, cover letter builder and AI suggestions process your content using automated systems and third-party AI providers acting on our behalf. We share only what is needed to provide the feature.

5. Who We Share Information With

We share your personal data only with:

• service providers: payment processors (PayPal, Razorpay and others), AI providers, hosting, email, analytics, security (such as Cloudflare), and support tools
• our writers and staff who work on your order
• authorities or courts, when required by law or to protect our rights, property or users' safety

Providers may process data under their own privacy policies.

6. Storage, Security and Transfers

We use secure servers and encryption, and limit access to authorized personnel under confidentiality obligations. Your data may be stored or processed on servers or by providers located outside India, with appropriate safeguards.

7. Retention

We keep your data while your account is active and as needed to provide the Services. After you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 90 days, except records we must keep for legal, tax, fraud-prevention or dispute purposes. Files uploaded to free tools without an account are kept for 1 year.

8. Your Rights

You may request to access, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw consent, or opt out of marketing. Email contact@1millionresume.com. We may verify your identity first and will respond within 30 days.

Account deletion. Send a deletion request from your registered email. To stop emails immediately, use the unsubscribe link in any email. Deletion does not affect records we are legally required to keep.

9. Children

The Services are for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functions, analytics and security. Details and choices are in our Cookie Policy.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date shows the current version, and we will notify you of material changes on the site.
